Managing Deer: A workshop for hunters, landowners & natural resource professionals, features instructors and presenters from the Quality Deer Management Association (QDM) at Frost Valley YMCA, 2000 Frost Valley Road, Claryville, NY 12725.
Topics include:
- Making your woods attractive to deer.
- Wildlife food plots.
- Deer harvest and herd data collection.
- QDM principals.
- Deer and the effects on your woods.
Cost: $15 due on event day. Pre-registration required by calling (607) 865-7790 ext 101. There is a classroom and field component so dress appropriately. Lunch and snacks are provided.
